The 686 Infinity Cargo Pant is a perennial favorite, offering a classic cargo pant aesthetic combined with reliable waterproofing, light insulation, and practical features. For riders in Millcreek, Utah, who value a balance of style, comfort, and performance that won’t break the bank, the Infinity Cargo Pant is a versatile choice for a wide range of winter conditions.
Key Features for Comfort & Weather Protection:
The Infinity Cargo Pant is built with 2-Layer infiDRY® 10K Fabric + DWR (Durable Water Repellent), providing a solid 10,000mm waterproof rating and 10,000gm2 breathability. This ensures you stay dry during typical snowfall and slush, while allowing moisture vapor to escape when you’re active. Critically taped Bemis® seams reinforce vulnerable areas, preventing moisture intrusion at key junctures.
For warmth, the Infinity Cargo Pant is insulated with infiLOFT® Insulation, typically with 40g to 80g (depending on the model year). This light insulation provides essential warmth without being overly bulky, making it suitable for varying temperatures on the mountain. It’s a great option for those who prefer a bit of warmth without the need for heavy layering.
The pant features a Modern Fit, which is described as not too loose and not too slim, providing enough room for layering without sacrificing style. This fit is comfortable and allows for a good range of motion, which is ideal for snowboarding and skiing.
